Tools for smoothing and shaping

This collection brings together Buff's essential care tools to shape, smooth, refine, and maintain nails with precision. Whether you're building a routine from scratch or upgrading the basics, these are the tools designed to make every step feel intentional.

How to use

1. The Little Clipper Nail Clipper trims nails cleanly to create the ideal starting length.

2. Great Plane Nail File with Holder shapes and smooths with dual grit: the coarse side (150) takes down length, the fine side (180) shapes and refines edges. Use as often as needed. The holder is refillable and designed for a delightful look and feel. When the grit dulls on one end of your file, slide it out, flip it around, and reinsert it into the holder for a fresh start. Replace with a completely new file as needed.

3. The Shine Sheets Nail Buffing Pads gently smooth surface texture on one side and shine on the other. Use up to twice per month—you don't want to over-buff. Wash hands to start with clean, completely bare nails. Use the rough side first, once over each nail. Finish with the shine side, hitting each nail again. Designed for single use across all 20 digits—once you're finished, toss the sheet and start fresh next time.

4. Edge Trimmers carefully remove loose hangnails and dead skin —only what has to go. Use sparingly, but as needed. Hang on to the cover to keep the blades closed and protected when not in use.

5. The Cuticle Pen Smoothing Oil-Infused Pumice self-releases oil to soften and moisturize the nail surface and surrounding skin, allowing you to use the pumice tip to gently push back cuticles and remove dead skin (seriously, watch it come right off). Use as needed. Use the metal tool on the opposite end of the pen to gently clean under and around nails.

Simple tools. Better technique. Polished, bare nails.
